I have configured the Quantum series(Modicon)PLC with CPU: 140CPU43412A with the configuration as per attached file Qauntum Config-1.jpg & Qauntum Config-2.jpg.
If I change the segments from 3 to 7,the final Logic Editor & Segment Scheduler appears as shown in attached file Qauntum Config-3.jpg.
I transfered these changes to CPU & found that CRA module installed in I/O rack shows ERROR on module.
Can anyone pl. explain me  what is the effect of changing the no. of segments in PLC Configuration even if there is no logic made in CPU?
