Hello everyone,
I'm looking for decent weight transmitters (RS-485 or Profinet).
I did some WEB research, and found such a neat stuff AC350 which costs a fortune, I would say.
So, any insights on this matter will be appreciated.
Perhaps someone utilize in automation projects something decent and not pricy.

Thanks.

I highly recommend it.

a bit surprised, looks promising. However, it needs to be studied comprehensivily, firstly upon docs, then purchasing and testing on the bench.

Still don't know if it has a GSD for (Profinet variant) and so forth...

Thanks!

Ok,from manual it is not clear whether it is cabable to hahdle configuration as shown.
I mean for example each channel has two more load cells and it transmits via (e.g. rs-485, profinet) values of each channel consequently. 1ch, 2ch,3ch,4ch again 1ch,2ch,3ch,4ch for such a price.

I used it by connecting four load cells in parallel like it shows for load cell 1.1

ok, you used single Channel module with four load cells connected in parallel, I believe.

Concerning the four Channel variant.
Is it capable to handle with, for example, two more load cells per channel and transmit consequently values as follows:
1ch, 2ch, 3ch, 4ch, again 1ch, 2ch, 3ch and so forth, for such a price.
What do you make about?

thanks.

Laumas has some of the best manuals, all your questions so far could be answered by reading there manuals.

Please give some more insight into how you want to use the transmitter, I have a feeling you need to step up to the TLM8 to get some of the features you are looking for.

Laumas' manual in particular "TLB 4" is not so good as you imagine for yourself. It doesn't answer pretty simple questions at all.

This line on page 4, for example.
8 independent channels:automatic detection of connected load cells.
It says nothing useful.
BTW, why eight. It is TLB4! After all.

Should I guess if it is simple summurize all values which come from ADC, then it transmits a sum via field bus?
Or should I guess that it is full-fledged four channels with concequent transmission of each channel via field bus (as per my pic attached above)?

Oh my gosh, I think the picture and description to, give quite comprehensive answer what I mean. True, for specialist only.

if it is the same surrogate channels, even a dozen of them makes no sense.
