ArmorView Plus 7 Grounding

What is the best practice to ground an ArmorView Plus 7?

The grounding terminal is on the outside.. Something I've never seen before. Usually it is just internal to the power cable. Am I supposed to run a separate ground wire to it? I don't think I've ever seen a single conductor outside of a cabinet before but I can't find anywhere in the NFPA79 that it is not allowed.
