Im looking for advice as far as learning to use (program) servos. Does anyone have any advice as to a learning type kit (servo, software, controller) that is cheap, using my pocket book not the companies. It would be for a learning experience only.

Free is a good price. Most motion controller companies have videos

Look at the videos. If you want to follow along more closely then down load the software.

We have a real on-line controller with built in simulator. There are a limited number of these so sometimes two people interfere with each other.
