Interfacing Panelview 1000 with SLC 5/04 of Allen Bradley

Dear all,
I have one Panelview 1000 HMI and one SLC 5/04 PLC. Both are Allen Bradley. Currently my Panelview 1000 HMI malfunctioned. So i need to interface SLC 5/04 PLC with my Personal Computer. Is it possible? If yes than how.
I have saved the application file of panelview 1000 in my personal computer.

What type of network communications is implemented between the HMI and the SLC 5/04?
If DH+, you will need a Data Highway Plus network interface (1784-PKTX, 1784-PKTXD or 1784-U2DHP) installed/connected within/to your PC and one license of RSView32 Runtime (minimum 75) running the HMI's PB32 application file.

If the PanelView 1000 is a "Standard PanelView" then you cannot emulate it on your PC.

If the PanelView 1000 is a 'PanelView Plus', you can run the Runtime file directly in FactoryTalk View ME (not RSView32). You will need a FactoryTalk View ME runtime license.

As mentioned above, you will also need a DH+ interface module or card for your computer; the only modern one is the 1784-U2DHP. Because there is no driver for the 1784-U2DHP in the FactoryTalk communication driver set (called RSLinx Enterprise), you will also need an RSLinx Classic OEM software license.

If the RS-232 port on the SLC-5/04 controller is available, you can use that port instead.

As I mentioned above, you need to determine if the PanelView 1000 is a "Standard" or a "Plus" unit.

The "Standard" units have a black bezel and a 2711-xxxx part number.
The "Plus" units have a gray bezel and a 2711P-xxxx part number.

Do you have the runtime file from the PanelView terminal, or the project file from either PanelBuilder32 or FactoryTalk View Studio ?
