To all,

After a ten year hiatus from designing control systems, I'm back and will hopefully be able to get back into the swing of things. To all the old timers that remember me, How is everyone?

Test: I am here since 2005 , by the way thanks to you I have learned a new word :
Hiatus: a break in or as if in a material object : gap.
My mother language is spanish so I am eager to learn new words every single day.
Anyway welcome back.

We have "hiato" in Spanish with one of the definitions similar to "gap in time". However, I remember using it more with the grammar meaning in my elementary school years. The English version also has the same definition for the grammar meaning.

Elcan:
That´s new to me, I always thought that my vocabulary and spanish grammar was excellent, but I see that I need to learn more, thanks.
Hiato: Solución de continuidad, interrupción o separación espacial o temporal.

From RAE Real academia española.
