In the PLC 5's when you created an Ethernet MSG instruction you were required to skip every other MG register because that's second register where the multihop data was put.

Is the same true on an ML1400?

In a Micrologix1400, you have to create a Message (MG) data table and a Routing Information (RI) for ethernet messages. It uses one element for each data table per message.

Doh! OK that makes sense. RI contains the multihop info so the second reg isn't needed.
I thought it was purely a workaround only on the PLC5s.
Thanks
