Rs485 Communication With Micrologix Ab

WE WANT TO GIVE COST EFFECTIVE RS485 COMMUNICATION WITH MICROLOGIX.
PROBLEM IS THAT WE ALSO HAVE TO GIVE MMI. DUE TO MMI ONE PORT IS USED
IN PLC FOR REMOTE COMMUNICATION.

IF MMI HAVE TWO PORTS, ONE FOR PLC THE OTHER FOR RS232C/RS485 THEN
WILL IT BE ECONOMICAL?

WHICH MICROLOGIX WILL SUPPORT MODBUS / RTU PROTOCOLS?

IS IT POSSIBLE PLC GIVES DIRECT RS485 COMM?

IF NO WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF RS232C/RS485 CONVERTERS?

Not quite sure what you are trying to do, do you want use a micrologix with a microview, panelview?

If your panelview has a RS232 DH485 you should be able talk to both the panelview and the PLC through this port depending on what type of plc you are using.
