I want to make an application in C# .Net to read Tags from CitectScada (Local variables, Variables tags, Digital Alarms ...) so that I can process the data in the C# app. So far I am seeing the best solution to achieve it is to communicate between both with DLL C++ file. I wonder if that will effect the performance of CitectScada if I am dealing with many tags (say 200). I would greatly appreciate it if you kindly give me some better solutions.
