I am a rookie programmer in need of help creating lodic to control a sump.

I have 3 level floats as inputs and 3 sump pumps as outputs, an AB PLC5 and RSlogix500 software. The control scheme must be lead, lag, lag2 configuration and the pumps should alternate so the same pump does not run every cycle

I have the original relay control diagrams but can't seem to make the transition to PLC ladder logic.

many thanks in advance

If you have the original relay diagram most of your logic is done. Emulate that in the PLC, and you have most of the job. What you are missing is probably the alternator. Look at a catalog for an alternator relay and see if you can make it work. Also search here on the site - this topic has come up before.

Hi there,

Appreciate if awalinski/coolclay could send me a copy.
I have to control 4 pumps (1 duty / 1 assist / 2 standby).
I'm using Flexlogix with RSLogix 5000. Does it read program written in RSLogix 500?

[email protected]

Thanks in advance

also need a program

Could you please send me a copy of the program ?

I have seven stations, each have between 2 and 5 pumps (150 to 500 HP). each have a PLC (ControlLogix) so I want to make only one program.

I also need variable level of activation, and the start stop to be automatically in function of the hours of operation of each Pump.

If I finish the program a can return it to you ... :)

thanks in advance
Luis
