1761-NET-ENI with RSLinx Enterprise

I wonder if anyone has seen this issue. I have used the NetEni module successfully many times, but this my first time using it with RSLinx Enterprise.
The module is connected to a Micrologix 1500 and it has a static IP address. I also have a PanelView plus 700 with a static IP connected to the subnet. RSLinx sees the PanelView and the Micro 1500, which is the way it should work, ie: the NetEni effectively disappears when properly connected to a Micrologix and the NetEni IP address shows up as the PLC. So everything is fine there.
Using RSLinx Enterprise only the NetEni and Panelview show up. So I have attempted to use the NetEni as the target device anyway and of course I get an unsupported device error.
If anyone has used the NetEni with RSLinx Enterprise I would greatly appreciate your insight.

In Linx Enterprise, have you added the 1500 as a 'Net-ENI Connected Device'?
You don't just put the PLC there in the Communications target tree, or the Net-ENI. You have to add the actual target device as a Net-ENI connected (PLC/SLC) device.

Thanks rdrast, that was good info. I had not configured the connected device.

It was not easy to do though as the Ethernet browse occured every time I clicked on the Ethernet driver, and my PLC device would keep being replaced by the Net-eni.

For anyone else with this issue I finally found Knowledgebase article id #29966 that addresses this browse/replace issue.
