We have had our data logger randonly stop twice in the past
4 weeks. We run Factory Talk View. The data is logged to an
ODBC data base. The data base is running on a Linux server.
To restart the data logging takes a reboot of the server, then
a reboot of the HMI computer.

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any ideas
about why this occurs?

I take it this is a SE program. Have you tried to data log off command on the studio command line? What does it say in your diagnostic viewer?
