Hello guys,

i have a question.
I use Factory Talk View Studio - Mashine Edition for the Panelview Plus 600.

I wanted to change the time span in the trends from the operator panel. I found that the only way to that is with VBA. Or is there another way?

In the Talk View Studio - Mashine Edition i cant find any object with VBA. Is VBA only supported in SE, or am i to dumb to find it?

Best regards,

I'm about 98% positive that you can NOT do VBA on FTME, since it's an embedded solution and VBA runs of Microsoft framework.

Per this document http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/viewme-um004_-en-e.pdf

I also found no instances of "vba" searching, and the only
"Visual Basic" reference I found was as follows:

From Page 20-2, "FactoryTalk View also supports the use of ActiveX object —third-party software components that you can use to control processes and display information. The ActiveX objects available depend on which third-party applications are installed on your development computer. For example, products such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Rockwell Automation, and Microsoft Office provide ActiveX objects that are configurable in FactoryTalk View Studio."

Just for clarity and to be correct you can run ME on a PC just like you do SE.
