Hello all,
Is it possible to communicate a CompactLogix PLC with a ACS800 VFD using EthernetIP?
There's a RETA-01-KIT device that claims to be an Ethernet Adapter for the ACS800 series.

Is it straightforward to implement this communication?
I'm pondering using this adapter intead of wiring signals back to the PLC (amps, torque, VFD at speed, etc.). It is not a cheap device, as well.

See the posted .zip example; it works pretty well; there really is no need for I/O integration.
