Hello,

I wanted to pick the community's brain and see if anyone has converted an existing 1747 SDN RSNetworx configuration project to a new 1769 SDN device?
I am upgrading from a 1747 L55 2B/C SLC 5/05 to 1769 L33ER Compactlogix. Gradually fading the DNET RIO from 1747 SDNs to 1769 AENTs. Hence keeping the DNET during the conversion initially.

What was the process? Any hiccups? I'm assuming that it is not as easy as downloading the project file via RSNetworx, and just changing the scanner type? If it involves remapping manually, I may just convert the PLC program and add all the RIO as 1769 from the get.

Any insight or recommendations if anyone has them is VERY appreciated, as always!!

Thanks,
B.
