vision Inspection Application

Hi,

In one of our facility (Screw Manufacturing) we need a vision inspection system to inspect the "Screw". Various Points we need to inspect like length,head dia,thread Length,Thread Pitch etc on a rotatory bench with a rejection. I have never done a application like this but i want to do. Any References, Product Brand Guide, Selection. Plz share. thanks

Exactly what parameters do you need to check and at what interval? I know screw machines can run really fast. Do you want 100% inspection or just one out of every 100? I have set up several systems. Some could check up to 2000 units per minute and some can only do 10's per minute. Will you be integrating auto rejection or just tracking data?
