Hello everyone,

This camed after I substitute the old Frequency inverter that drives the main motor. I'm watching this error happening every 45min~1 hour cycliq.
But machine is runnig the complete program with no issues...except it stops and gets faulted.

Tried to find some explanation at online manuals:

And then followed the pdf for the Analog I/O card:

Your comments will be apreciated.
Thank you!

A quick search of the knowledgebase gives this:

"If the I/O Module Status (IOS) file indicates a Hex equivalent to X300 (X - The first digit, no matter what, is ignored) the module has produced a General hardware error. One of the major causes for this error is due to noise. If so review the controller's installation according to technote 35693 - Guides on grounding, wiring, and noise control in system installations"

Have you checked all the wiring to the Frequency Inverter?

Well , it's true that the inverter's power cables (input and output) aren't filtered with those kind of magnetic rings, and they pass about half meter away from the plc.
On the other hand, command circuit between plc and the inverter is using shielded cables, earth connected at both sides.

I'll check if those magnetic rings can apply and can make the difference.

Thank you.

See technote 19576..
Thanks.

"This error may occur under the following conditions:
1. Series B 1769-IF4 or 1769-OF2
2. The selector switch on the analog module is set for external (not bus power)
3. The base and the analog module are powered off simultaneously.
4. The processor tries to go into RUN or REM RUN based on state of the RUN-REMPROG
switch"

1- True;
2- Will check;
3- That's for sure it happens. When power off both lights turn off at same time. ;
4- I think the switch is always at REM position. Will check it.

Thank you.
