Hi

I seem to be having some seemingly random issues with fault signals not resetting properly with this PLC on a crane. A brief description- When a fault occurs an engineer attends the call. So far I have been told that the fault has been reset- and when looking at the PLC the fault has been reset however the only way of getting the machinery to restart is by rebooting the PLC. This is one of those cases where the PLC logic is telling me that there is no fault so I am struggling to determine why a PLC reboot is making a difference. The faults are not latched at the time. The PLC's are AC500's (SM560-S) along with their safety counterpart with coms primarily over Profinet. The safety Modules are CI502 modules.
I understand that this is a little woolly at present and I hope to clarify some of the detail when I can see the exactly what is happening for myself.
So as a starter I was wondering if anyone was aware of any firmware/hardware issues that you may have come across before?

regards
