OT: Surge Supressors

In the company where I work, about 10 days ago, a lightning storm caused the loss of power in the main servers rack.

There is a 10kVA UPS that worked perfectly but the problem was that several circuit breakers, including some differential, disconnected both upstream and downstream the UPS.

It seems that the maintenance manager is a bit clueless about how to try to avoid this in the future.

It seems that some Surge Supressors should be installed,

Could you give any guidance on the subject?
