Questions about an old SAIA PLC type

PLC is PCD4 - board RS422 (PCD7.F110)

We sold a HMI to replace one but our HMI doesn´t communicate with the PLC.

In one of the PLC files it opened the Port by SASI command (see below).

$SASI
; Testo comunicazione VT
TEXT 1
"UART:9600,7,E,1;"
"MODE:SD0;"
"DIAG:F10,R1;" ; Flag 10-17/R 1
$ENDSASI

The SAIA protocol that our HMI has is S-BUS (datamode)

One possibilty that we see is use the PGU port (RS232) but is configured for P8 protocol.

My questions are:

1- I know by PG5 tool is possible to active the S-BUS, right ? If I change how I manage in this case the Eprom ? Or the CPU manage it automatcally ?

2- Will be becessary to change the SASI in this case ? I should remove it from the program ? and the same preview quation, What about the fthe Eprom ?

I hope you understand my questions and I appriciate so much if you could help me.

Thank you everybody.
