Hi,
does anybody have a sample on how to create process/alarms/events/production reports using Factorytalk SE and MSReportBuilder?

I would treat this as two separate questions. The first thing to do is get Factorytalk up and running and logging your events into a SQL database. Then look to MSReportBuilder to read from the SQL database. The above are links to some resources.

Hope this helps you out.

Thank you gclshortt!
Well, I have already done the FTView and SQL step. I'll read about MSReportBuilder and then I'll go back!

Hi! I made a successful link between SQL and FTView, my tables are good and I developed my ReportBuilder's report. In REpBuilder preview I can successfully populate my report.
The question is: how to embed my report in runtime FTView Client, without the need to open external application.

I thought it was easy, something like just put an activex, but until now can't find a solution.

In Citect its possible trough a template and Cicode passing report URL, with SSRS (Microsoft Reporting Services) properly configured.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Posting it here on this thread is probably fine. In the future, someone with the same question will likely come across this thread, and having a tutorial at the end of it will help them no end :)
