anyone know about how long the compact logix 5069-l306 processor will hold its program in ram when the power is off. No battery light so im assuming it has a capacitor in it.

It does not hold program in RAM. Instead, it uses a capacitor to save RAM to NVRAM.
Once saved, it will remain in NVRAM for years.
It will restore program from NVRAM to RAM on power-up.

is the NVRAM internal or is it the SD card. Thanks so much for your response, dont know how many manuals i went through to try and find this info.

Internal - the SD card is flash memory.
