Panelview Plus Change Password

I am using Factorytalk users and added a change password button but every time a modification and new MER is downloaded the passwords are reset to the original passwords. This makes sense but is there a way to not replace the users and passwords?



I was thinking Windows Linked users might be the key but thought I would check here first
