PV800 and Compactlogix

The two won't talk

I'm using a PanelView800 with a L33ER with CCW v12 and they just won't talk to each other.

What is this "simple" tag import that someone mentioned, I found nothing simple about it and it still isn't communicating. Worst yet since it's a FREE program there is virtually NO training videos to use to see what I'm doing wrong. I've followed Rockwell's requirements concerning the IP upgrade and everything else suggested to no avail.
