I need to connect a machine with Ignition scada to get the OEE Data of the machine. The machine doesn't have a PLC. May be a micro-controller or Embedded system running in DOS. It has four RS232 out. I'm thinking connect these RS232 with an Ethernet converter and connect to Ignition through Ethernet. For reference i have attached some of the images that i received.

You'll need some idea of what protocol this machine can speak. Are those serial ports even designed for comms to a SCADA system?

Until you know that you'll just be fumbling in the dark
