WinCC + Clients-What is required from Siemens

Have a project that customer requires WinCC V7.0 (Not Flex)
1 x Server.
3 x Clients.
Less than 2000 tags to/from PLC, Less than 512 Tags for trends.

Am getting lost with what to order, have never used WinCC before or even seen it running anywhere.

A RC2048 (6AV6381-2BP07-0AX0) has Run Time + Configuration.
Is this classed as a server?
Would this run as an operator station as well or only as server?

A RT128 (6AV6381-2CA07-0AX0) as a client.
Will the RC2048 configuration handle the client as well as server or do I have to purchase a configuration for Client and a different one for server.

Running Siemens online order system there is no heading for server only.

For the server: You need WINCC RC 2048 tags on the server + wincc server add on
For each client: You only need the basic WINCC RT128 for each client

512 Archive tags for trends is included in the basic license for RT / RC.

Are there any known issues to watch out for for with this confiuration?

Just take a look at the compatibility list so you know what you need from the PC side.

As you can see, the server station can't run in Windows 7 SP1 for example.

If we exceed the number of 128 Tags then what will happen in RT Client PC..??
