AB power flex dc product profile problem

I am working on a project whitch will use 4 Power Flex DC Drives to turn a big wheel. I am using rslogix 5000 with a 1756-L61S processsor. When I downloaded the Product profile for the drives, every time I try and change the drive setting I get a fatel error and my laptop shuts down. This not only happens with rslogix 5000, but also with drive exploror. Please for give the spelling, it sucks I know

I run a similar set up without any issues. My first instinct is to tell you to uninstall and then re install the software and see if the problem persists. I don't think it's anything to do with your hardware combination, but I've been wrong before.
