Hello i am facing a huge problem like yours. I have a battery lose on a plc , so i lost some hmi settings. The factory had an old pdb file but i am not able to open it on Tia portal. Can anyone help me convert it to tia protal?

Hi Konstantinos.

PLC variables that are set on the HMI will not be saved in the HMI. Exception is recipe data that can be saved on the HMI.
Normally the HMI should not be affected by the PLC losing the backup battery, so recipes stored on the HMI will be retained.

So it does not make sense to migrate the HMI because the PLC lost battery power.

Oh, in case you think that the lost settings of the PLC variables are stored in the .pdb file.
They are not.
