Hello Siemens experts,

I need to know what slot position do I install my 6es7-416-2xk02-0ab0 CPU.

When I checked on the Siemens web site there were no manuals available for this CPU.

I have a 6ES7-405-0KA01-0AA0 Power supply in slot one.

I don't know if this power suplly occupies two slot spaces or not. Or the CPU occupies two slot spaces or not.

I also have to install an Industrial Ethernet 6GK7-443-1EX11-0XE0. I beleive that is supposed ot go into slot 4. So then I can start installing my Digital Input modules in slot 5 Correct??? :(

A 416-2 will occupy 1 slot, your power supply will occupy 2 slots, so the power supply will take slots 1 and 2, your CPU will occupy slot 3, your CP443-1 will occupy slot 4, that leaves you 5 slots (in a 9 slot rack) for the rest of your cards.

Hope this helps

Paul
