i am starting a tia portal v13 sp1 new project, with s71500 cpu + local modules, and also some et200sp stations + their own modules.

after doing the devices configuration, i found that i need to add more digital input and output modules. but this resulted in having the io addresses no longer consecutive from one module to another.

i need to shift the io address of the previously inserted modules, so the io address of the new modules will be in the correct order as their neighboring ones.

is there any way to realign the io addresses in the whole project? to have them consecutive again? with increasing address value from module to module and from station to station?
is this possible to do easily?

thank you

Mapping of devices to inputs and outputs can be changed in the hardware configuration. When adding a device, the program chooses the mapping automatically but it can be edited.

When a hardware configuration is updated (or created), as you add devices the program adds the device's Is & Qs to the next available. If you don't like the Is & Qs that were automatically assigned, you can change them to something else that is not already assigned. So if you require a certain order, care must be taken on the order of devices added to the hardware configuration.
