Installing a 1794-AENT FLEX I/O module .Can you install in CompactLogix while online?

I am getting ready to install a remote Flex I/O 1794-AENT. It is going to be difficult to shut the line down to install. I was wondering if a 1794-AENT can be
Installed while online ?

I just tried to do this on a system here at work as a test and you can't add ethernet modules while you are online.
