Hi all,
Has anybody tried to read load cells using the Re Lion Graphite and any of the strain gage modules (GMSG1)?
I was wondering if I can give it a try and avoid using the load cells indicator and the additional analog output card in the indicator to send a 4-20 mA signal to the PLC.

Thank you!

I have used the older CSSG modules in conjunction with a CSMSTRSX controller to interface melt pressure transducers with decent enough results. That the module provides the excitation voltage for the strain gage is nice. I was also able to use the module's built in relay outputs to close the calibration circuit of the transducer, so for me, it was a nice compact solution.

Hope this helps.
