GX Developer Tag Import

As long as I've used GX Developer, I have not figured out a way to import a delimited file for addresses and tag names.

I can in other PLC editors and could in Medoc, but not in GX Developer (still using Version 7).

Open your delimited file in excel, select a range of comments with consecutive address and copy it to the clipboard. Next, in GX Developer open the comment editing window and paste the comments from the clipboard onto the relevant addresses. Alternatively, fork out for GX Converter which has functions for importing/exporting GX Developer data in text format.

Awkward, huh?! This is a basic function found in most other PLC editors.
