All,

My client is looking to have me calculate the boiler feed water differential pressure in kPa to and actual flowrate in m3/hr.

Once the actual flow rate is derived, the flow rate goes into a custom function block which will get pressure and temperature (density) compensated.

The current conditions are:
DP: 42 kPa
Orfice ID: 40.4241mm
Pipe ID: 76.2mm

Control system:
Control logix L74 Version 20
HMI: Factory Talk SE Version 9

Could someone please provide me with the correct formula?
Also a solution to the equation with the parameters listed?

Thanks so much!
