Confused on wiring

We added a Siemens BW500 belt scale to our system recently. Ive connected the analog output on the scale to the PLC and got the TPH to read.

However, Im having a little trouble with the totalizer side of the scale system.
The manual shows the outputs for the totalizer, and this is where I get confused. The manual shows one group of outputs is for 30 volts max, and another set is for 240 volt max.

The manual does not state whether the voltage is AC or DC, perhaps it dosent matter ? Both connections on the scale are listed as + and - however.

Im wanting to connect these to a 120AC input card on a controllogix card.

IS this possible ?

From the manual:

Outputs
• remote totalizer 1: - contact closure 10 - 300 ms duration
- open collector switch rated 30 V dc, 100 mA max

• remote totalizer 2: - contact closure 10 - 300 ms duration
- open collector switch rated 240 V ac/dc, 100 mA max

• relay output: 5 alarm/control relays, 1 form 'A' SPST relay contact per relay, rated 5 A at 250 V ac, non-inductive

So "remote totalizer 1" is not ok for 120AC, and the "remote totalizer 2" is OK for 120AC

Thanks for the reply. I actually found another manual for the scale that list that it works for AC power.

I was also confused by a statement made in the manual that not all models require external power for the totalizer.

Would I connect the +(Positive) terminal to the PLC input, and the -(Negative) side to any neutral, or would the terminals act like a relay, and jut run the hot lead to one lug, and the other to the PLC ?
