SLC 5/05 eem instruction problems

Hi all,

I have an slc 5/05 and am trying to read data from an 193-etn using the eem instruction as described in the instruction, but I cannot get it to work.

I keep getting a message error 15h too much data. I have the IP address set up and can ping the slc and the 193-etn.

The slc firmware is version 13 and I’m using rslogix 500 version 9.00.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The example I’m trying to use is in ab 193-um012b-en-p 2011 user manual page 48 to 51.
