Hi,

I have encountered a problem with PLC and DCS I/O card power supply requirement for field wiring. Do PLC and DCS card both need external power supply to feed the relays or field devies?

I have the case that M-series DeltaV DO card need this power supply but on the other case Tricon 3625 does not need external power supply.

I appreciate if anyone give me some clarification on the wiring to field instruments from DO card.

Thnaks,
