Download to PLC error

I have SLC 501 processors in my system. After making offline changes to the current program and verifying the project I get an error message when trying to download to PLC. Error message says 'cannot initialise program memmory'. Communication is via pic module using the AB_PIC-1.DH-485 driver and is seen running through System Comms.
Can anyone help!
