Changing the background on a HMI

Is there a way to add your own picture on the background of the screen that will allow you to add buttons to it. I placed a picture over the background of window 10 and added buttons to it but the picture and buttons don't show when I run it.Weintek HMI
 
I think you should really spend some time work with all of the example "Weintek/Maple Systems" offer. They have some very good examples for a lot of the questions you have asked on this forum.
 
Greg, if you add an image and then send it to the bottom layer it should be visible at run time, with the buttons visible over the top.


Not sure why a picture wouldn't show, you haven't got any odd security settings assigned to it by mistake have you?

Btw, if you want to ask questions outside of this forum just message me and I'll give you my email. I may not have all the answers regarding Weintek, but I've been using them for 2 years or so now.

Hmm bottom layer 8 have to look for that and no security settings I add2d it to my library and used it from there didn't work out that well will try the bottom layer thing
 
Thanks that worked but maybe you can help me understand this I made 3 screens added text to them all the words are aligned on the screens but when I do the off line sim and put it on the HMI the words aren't in strait lines any more how can I keep them aligned.

Odd, are all the text boxes set up the same in terms of formatting? For example text aligned left etc., and the text boxes all set in the same position from the left?
 
I finally figured it out for some reason it had big spaces befor the numbers As I was back spacing it jumped like a half inch I had to clear that space.
