Replacing AB PLC2 with AB PLC5

I know this is old, but one thing you have to keep in mind is down time. A complete rip out/re-wire takes a lot of time, and Time is money.

Its big business at the moment replacing old to new, I've done a few live migrations, moving devices slowly from the live legacy system to the new.

Very costly as you stated but cheaper than a site shutdown for a lot of businesses.
