Hello folks!

I try to interpret how View SE are communicating with the S7 without having very much information, I don't have an I/O List and I don't have access to the PLC. But I have full access to the View SE project file.

I'm trying to understand what those 2 commands mean, what confuses me is the hashtags with numbers.

I know this second command opens up a valve, but how can it know what certain valve it is, what do those hashtags mean?

How does the View SE tag system work? Is it related to the hashtags?
Is there any way for me to know the I/O List though View SE?

Thanks!

There will be a parameter file for among other things, the valves. When the faceplate or screen is opened, there will be a parameter file loaded, inside that parameter file will be the tags associated with the hashtags.

Find which parameter file is loaded with that particular screen, or button etc, open it and there you will see the tags.
