Communication between Protool & Simatic TP170A

Hello All
I need to get the Backup of TP170A for this I tried PROTOOL and PROSAVE and configured communication parameters via COM1

Gives Error Message: Could not established the connection

The software I am using are Simatic ProTool ver. 6.0 SP2 and Simatic Prosave ver 7.0.0.1, Windows XP SP3,

What are the possible causes of this problem ? help me out. Thank you
