I am newbie in using the Twincat software.
I have tried to connect between Beckhoff BX9000 and Twincat. But I was not successful.
In the Twincat system manager, I want to add route with BX9000, but i don't know user name and password to log on. You can see that issue in the attached picture.
I installed Twincat 2.1 on window 7 ultimate.
Please tell me what the user name and password are. And do you have any manuals or instructions for using the TwinCat. Please send them to me.
I appreciate your supports.

I just connected between TwinCAT and Beckhoff BX9000 successfully
The procedure is below:
- The IP address of BX9000 usually is 172.16.17.21 with the sub-net mask 255.255.0.0
- Set your PC to the same network class, for instance 172.16.21.2 (sub-net mask 255.255.0.0).
- The name of BX9000 is BX_160037 (You can see on the label of the BX9000, the MAC-ID is 00-01-05-16-00-37, and the name is BX_160037).
- Now use PING to test whether a connection exists, Ping BX_160037.
- Now start the TwinCAT System Manager and search for the BX9000 via Ethernet
- The user name and password are blank, just click Ok.
By the way, i'm a newbie of this 4r. I hope that we can help each other.
