rslogix 500 password

hi all,

i am tring to open an rslogix 500 project from a few years back but the original engineer is now gone and he had a password on the project back then. i have the same project but when he left i removed the password protection from the project. i wanted to go back and check some of the plc logic in this original project but cant open it because it asks for the password or master password.

is there a way to get around this. (this is the software password not the an slc processor password)

This is not something you are going to get on the open forum. Contact your local AB Rep.

Maybe you could load both the projects into a Hex Comparing program and look for the differences.
