Hi all,

I've got a project running on a S7-318-2 with several DB's, where in some shared DB's I've added some new data types and changed the discription of the excisting ones.
Since this has been done offline I'd like to download the changed project (FC's & DB's) to the PLC. Is it possible to download the altered DB to the PLC without changing the Actual value of the excisting DB's into the initial value??? Since some variables are constantly changing and some DB's are quit large it isn't possible to change the initial value into the actual value before downloading.
Thanx in advance
HG.

You need a tool to export the actual data to the initial data or do it manually. It is not part of the standard simatic software.
