communication between Controllogix and Automationdirect Productivity

Is this even possible? I need to get a string from a controllogix L64 processor into a Productivity3000. I've tried SLC type writes and CIP data table.

I have found where you can set the productivity3000 as a module over EtherNet/IP, playing with settings now.
