Alternative Technology

Howdy folks, I'm looking to see if there is an alternative technology available to replace a Density Cell (U-tube type) and its associated 4-20mA converter. The current unit has been in service since 08/1982 and is due for replacement. I may end up going with the same type but thought it worth looking around a bit. Thanks for any help.
