Profibus card initialized with a different version of ApplicomIO

We changed a slave PC with a PCU-DPIO Profibus card and it would not communicate with the Siemens CPU 315-2DP PLC
Got the following error. Replaced with the old card and it worked fine

Error msg: The board number 1 was initialized with a different version of applicomIO. Please initialize to update it

Any idea how to initialize it with the correct version

Never used it but perhaps this link may help, it sounds like the driver needs updating.
