3d printer

42 inch by 42 inch and height about 10 inches. Looking at speed of around 140 inches per minute. Not really sure about resolution since we have just starting discussing this, but as accurate as possible.
Actually at the moment looking online at 3d printer kits and trying to decide what kit to purchase. Trying to find one that uses nema 34 size steppers.

There are a lot of designs on there that can be scaled up. They also sell alot of components. Sounds like extruded aluminum V slot/rail setup and using a belt drive to the stepper motor may be a flexible solution. Just a matter of making a solid enough bracket for the motor and aligning it with the belt/pulley system.

Just would have to look at the interface to stepper drivers. Looks like they support PWM so should work with Marlin firmware.
