S7-1200 to Leibinger Jet3Up Ethernet comunication

[FONT=&quot]I have a future project planned with a leibinger jet3up inkjet printer that I will have to send the print details to the printer via ethernet. I asked if a profinet verison is avaliable but it seems that it's not.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Has any one worked with a Siemens PLC with this type of printer and comunication? [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]I am guessing that I will use PUT/GET functions to send control strings to the printer? [/FONT]

I would contact the manufacturer.
Based in Germany and the printer is for use in industrial applications, there is a good chance they have a sample TIA project for connecting the printer to an S7-1200 or S7-1500 PLC.

I did it recently. You need Tsend / Trcv as mentioned.
Get Scripting and Programming manual from manufacturer.
Communication is based on sending and receiving strings between You and the printer.
It's pretty straightforward.
